Realtor lead generation is the foundation of building a successful real estate business. You can spend money upfront by buying leads from companies like Zillow or Realtor.com, but is there a better way with no upfront costs?

There absolutely is through companies that charge no upfront fees and you only compensate them if they close with a referral fee. This is a list of 10 lead generation companies for real estate agents with no upfront fees:

1️⃣ OpCity
OpCity is owned by Realtor.com. They nurture the leads to the time when they are ready to see properties or list their home. They then refer them out to a group of agents.

2️⃣ Redfin Referral Network
Redfin the brokerage generates more leads than their agents can handle in many markets. This is the referral network they use to refer those leads out to other agents.

3️⃣ Rocket Homes
Owned by Rocket Mortgage, Minimum of 24 months experience and at least 8 transactions in the
last 12 months. Great source for preapproved buyers.

4️⃣ Estately
Minimum of 3 years experience. They only partner with a few agents in each market and a 30% referral fee on closed transactions.

5️⃣ Veterans United Realty
This is an affiliate of Veterans Home Mortgage and they specialize in VA loans. The leads that come in have already been approved for a VA loan and are relocating to your area.

6️⃣ HomeLight
The referral fees on this lead source is 25% on anything under $4M and anything over $4M is a 30% referral fee. They have an algorithm that matches buyers and sellers with agents based on their experience and the areas indicated as a specialty.

7️⃣ Ojo
Ojo looks for at least 3 years of experience and a minimum of 25 transactions in the last 12 months. They require a 30% referral fee. Higher quality leads, but more stringent requirements to participate.

8️⃣ Upnest
Upnest is a source for listing leads. They are looking for a minimum of 3 years experience and at least 6 transactions in the past 12 months. You are going to pay them with a referrral fee, but you will compete for the listing with other agents Upnest informs about the opportunity.

You compete via a proposal that is submitted to the seller or buyer outlining your services and what you will provide. The proposal includes any reductions in commission you are willing to make to secure the business.

9️⃣ Agent Pronto
No minimum requirements to join and they focus on your Agent Pronto profile page as a way for you to win these referrals. Potential buyers will review your Agent Pronto profile and they will decide based on your specialties and

🔟 Fast Expert
You have to be in the Top 5% for transactions in your local market in order to qualify to be able to receive leads. You can have a page on their site, but you have to be in the top 5% in order to qualify for the referrals they will send. Your agent profile, online presence and past performance are all factors they use to choose who they send these top end referrals to.
