In this video I will walk you through a solution that I put together to automate the process of generating leads from LinkedIn comments.
People who engage with LinkedIn posts show that they are interested in the topic that the post is about. Therefore, this can be a good intent signal that can lead to a high quality lead list that you can use for your outreach.
To automate the process of generating leads from LinkedIn post comments there are 5 key tasks that need to be automated:
1. Monitoring the activity of a list of content creators that are making posts in the same topic that your business is under.
2. Extracting the LinkedIn profiles of the people that comment on these posts.
3. Opening the profile of each person and extracting the Linkedin company profile URL of the company that they work at.
4. Opening the company profile page and extracting the company’s website and its domain.
5. Passing the person’s first name, last name and company domain to an email finder tool to perform a search and find the person’s professional email address.
To automate these steps I’m using a tool called PhantomBuster which specializes in LinkedIn data scraping and offers an automation for each task that needs to be automated.
