Are you looking for new ways to acquire customers for your business? Then, this one is for you!
The strategies that I’m going to share can be applied to both local businesses and businesses in general, national and worldwide. And the best way that I can prove that I know what I’m talking about is because I launched my business, Digital Sargeant, in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. And it’s taken off like a rocket ship!
The reason it’s taken off like a rocket ship is because I know how to do marketing, especially digital marketing. So, I’m going to share with you two pieces of information that you need to help acquire more customers for your business. The best part is that this has nothing to do with paid advertising.
Here are the 2 pieces you need to acquire more customers:
Solve Problems
Build Trust
You can solve problems in a couple of different ways. You can show your audience that you can solve their problem by distributing that content on social media and on your landing page. The thing that you want to keep in mind is who your ideal target audience is and what problems do they have. Then, you can directly talk to those problems on your website, on a specific landing page, and on social media.
Essentially, you want to create a content recipe or content strategy where you know the problem that your ideal target audience has, and you talk about how you can solve those problems for them. You distribute those techniques and methods on your social media channels.
And whenever it comes to building a landing page, the number one thing you want to keep in mind is to keep it sweet, simple, and to the point. Nobody has the time or the energy to read a lot of words on a website. Instead, clutter your website with call-to-actions. The more CTAs that you have, the easier it is for a customer to get in touch with you, and the better it will be for everybody.
To build a lot of trust, you can produce video content. Just like how you might watch my YouTube videos when I send out these newsletters. Videos establish a lot of trust, which has made YouTube my best lead generator. People watch my videos, establish a relationship with me, and have trusted me before they even hop on the phone with me.
Another old fashion way of building trust is through reputation, getting reviews for your business on various platforms. Google is going to be your best real estate, followed by Facebook, Nextdoor, Yellow Pages, etc. Get reviews wherever you can and ask your customers for them just before the service ends.
When it comes to distributing your elements of trust, you want to choose 3 main social media channels. You don’t need to be everywhere, all the time unless you have a robust team helping you.
Focus on 1 channel that will give you awareness, TikTok or Instagram can be good options here. And the second channel can be focused on SEO (search engine optimization), which could be YouTube, Pinterest, or TikTok. Finally, the third social media platform can be the channel that you feel most comfortable posting on. We need to feed this machine with content as consistently as possible.
In short, identify the problem that your ideal target audience has, tell them how you can solve their problem with your brand and brand, and then distribute that content on social media.
