After power up the radio, you need to set CAN-BUS correctly to get your steering wheel conrols work. The procedure is as following, click Settings in the main menu, go to factory and input password 3368, choose RZC->Jeep->compass->2016-2020,select "2016-2020.AMP" if your car have audio amplifier. Wrong or missing CAN-BUS setups lead to unworking steering wheel controls. Of course, CANBUS box should always be connected to the rear power plug beforehand
